FOUNDATION / PREPARATORY COURSES


For persons wanting to return to education, NUI Maynooth offers preparatory courses, which can be taken before embarking on a degree programme. These courses reintroduce students to the world of learning, and provide them with various important study skills.

POSTGRADUATE COURSES AND RESEARCH


Persons wishing to enter post-graduate research must first make contact with a prospective supervisor within the Department of Experimental Physics to agree on a possible research topic and to discuss possible funding options. Contact details can be found by clicking on each of our research areas in astronomy and experimental physics.

General information about post-graduate studies is provided by the NUI Maynooth Graduate School.

We also offer a One Year Postgraduate Diploma Course in Applied Physics.
